State of Louisiana- Emergency Proclamation- CRNA Scope of Practice- COVID-19

Governor John Bel Edwards issued an Executive Order on March 31st temporarily removing the statutory physician supervision requirement for CRNAs during this crisis. This was executed so that LA CRNAs can care for the citizens of Louisiana diagnosed with COVID-19 in the safest and most efficient manner possible.

Other APRN restrictions were suspended as well such as the requirement for NPs to have collaborative practice agreements in place.
